Adjust orientation

To have a correct export into the various CAD software, it is necessary to define the orientation of the incoming scan data.

Once the scan data is loaded, you can select Adjust Orientation (1) in order correctly position the arch.

If you have both the lower and upper jaws, it will be sufficient to fix only one of the two arches. To finalize the orientation, click on the “Align with view” button (2).

Once the orientation of the incoming scans has been set, select “Target CAD System” (3) in order to select which CAD software (Zfx CAD, Exocad, Dental Wings or 3 Shape) will be used to design the final restoration. Once the CAD system has been selected, click on ‘Next’ (4) for the software to automatically prepare the conversion files.
