Installing the Pre-milled Abutment holder
1.0    The Zfx Pre-milled Abutment Standard Holder should set up from an Expert. Please ask your Machine or CAM Provider.

The Zfx Pre-milled Abutment Standard Holder must be fixed in a Standard Disk-Holder.

2.0     The Zfx pre-milled Abutment Standard Holder must be orientated according the Disk holder and the machines axis.

Wrong position. Standard holder is not correct in holder

Correct Position

Once the holder is correctly positioned, it should never be removed from the disk holder

3.0     The 3 clamping positions can be verified with the Zfx™ GenTek™ Calibration Abutment Blank, Art.° ZFX18-CALIB.

The calibration Blank is used to check correct position, to avoid a bad milling result.

Clamp the calibration Blank in the 3 positions and mill them with the specific program. Measure the milling result and correct the probable deviation in the CAM’s holder definition.

Mounting Pre-milled Abutmets

You can mount Pre-milled Abutment to the abutment holder as follows:

  1. The Pre-milled Abutment Blanks have 3 notches for orientation. The 3 Pins from holder must go into these notches.
  2. Fix the Abutment Blank with the blue screws. It’s sufficient to close the screws manually. If someone wants to be safe, the designated secure spanner can be used.
